Shihan Andi Neagu started karate in 1979. In 1985 he started kyokushin karate in Buzau city. He returned in his hometown Piatra Neamt and continue to train in karate with a group of many practitioners of martial arts. In 1990 he became a student of University of Bucharest and continue to train in kyokushin karate and shotokan karate. After finishing his studies in 1995 he returned to Piatra Neamt  and open his dojo called Seishin. Since 1999 Andi Neagu is dedicated entirely to practice shidokan karate. Over the years, Sensei Andi Neagu has trained with great masters of full contact karate: shihan Jose Galluccio, shihan Gilles Richard, shihan Romas Navickas, kancho Toru Tezuka, shihan Alain Breugelmans, shihan Y. Mori, shihan Michel Begin, kancho Gerard Gordeau, hanshi Nico Gordeau, hanshi Tom Eikmans, hanshi Frans van Wijngaarden, hanshi Adamy Istvan, shihan Dave Jonkers, shihan Semmy Schilt, shihan Jan Norder, shihan Meinema, sensei Freek v/d Kooi. 2002 Ashihara Cup / 2003 Full Contact Cup / 2003 Ashihara Cup / 2003 International Shidokan Open / 2003 European Shidokan Cup. In 2004, member of European Shidokan Federation. In 2005, member of International Karate Organisation  Kyokushin Kai Kan Tezuka Group. 2005 International Shidokan Cup / 2005 Shidokan Gala. In 2006 he goes in Japan to fight in World Open Tournament Kyokushinkai / 2006 Budo Full Contact Championship / 2006 European Kyokushin Championship. 2007 World Samurai Night Shidokan. In 2008, member of International Budokai. 2008 International Shidokan Gala / 2008 Katsu Gala Kyokushin Budokai. In 2009, member of International Shindokai Kan League.
